The expression pedal is good for adjusting the sound of a patch, being able to adjust pre and post volume/gain/effect level and a variety of other characteristics. The effects are very good you can use delay/reverb/amp and mic modelling/pickup simulator/compressor/eq and AN effect at one time - but if you want multiple effects (chorus AND flange for instance) at the same time you cant.
